FAQs + Policies

 When will my order ship?

Within 1-5 business days. Most orders ship within three business days.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Nope! I closed my Oklahoma City retail location in March of 2023. Please enjoy free shipping for all orders over $65!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. For orders outside the US, shipping costs are by package weight and ship via USPS first-class mail international.

Add your desired items to your cart and proceed to checkout to see the shipping costs - if it seems too expensive, please feel free to contact me for a more accurate quote but keep in mind that international shipping is expensive.

Please understand that any additional fees, taxes, or tariffs are the receiver's responsibility. (That's you.)

Can I get expedited processing and shipping?

No. I cannot guarantee expedited shipping in this post-COVID world.

I got a notification that my order was delivered, but I can't find it. What do I do?

Don't panic. Sometimes carriers mark the package as delivered just before handing it over. Usually, when this happens, it's found within the day. Check the tracking number (provided in your order shipment confirmation) to see details about where the package was left. Next, ask your mail carrier or local post office for more information - they should be able to offer more information about who delivered the package and where it was left. Finally, check with your neighbors, or if you live in an apartment building, check with the office or in any common spaces where packages are left.

If you've done all of these things and the package is still missing after one business day or more, email me for assistance. I will file a claim to be reimbursed and reship your products (assuming that they were not one-of-a-kind or limited edition products.) I will reach out via email with a link for you to submit an online affidavit to Shipsurance 20 days after the shipment date so that I can be reimbursed. Note: they will not review the claim until 20 days have passed since the date I shipped your order.

How do I check my points balance?

Click on the "you deserve nice things" banner in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. If you're on a mobile device, it's a pink & black twinkle button in the lower-right corner. Log in, then click on the banner again to see a summary of your points, earning activities, and any available coupons.

Why isn't my coupon code working?

I don't know. Check your autocorrect?

How do I manage my subscriptions?

Log into your customer account and click on the "My Subscriptions" button. There, you can edit, skip, or cancel your recurring orders. Please note that changes to your order must be made before the order charge date.

If you're not able to change your order before you're charged, please email me ASAP, before your order ships. Incorrect orders that have already shipped will not be refunded or replaced as that's incredibly wasteful. Please subscribe responsibly!

What is your return/refund/exchange policy?

All sales are final. Please start by ordering a sample. Natural perfumery is an art, and fragrance preferences are very subjective. Because what I offer is so unique, ordering a sample is the best, most sustainable way to ensure you won't end up disappointed.

What do you have for dry/oily/acne-prone/sensitive skin?

My entire skincare line (four products: cleanser, toner, oil, and butter,) is designed to work for every skin type. There are customizable options so that every product can be adjusted to meet your needs. Please read the full product details for all of the information you need to make the best decision for your skin!

I'm having a baby! What products of yours can I use?!

Congratulations! My body and skincare products should be safe for most pregnant people. I don't offer free personalized skincare consultations. Ask your doctor if you have concerns about using any of my products during your pregnancy.

Are essential oils safe to use in skincare?

For most people, yes. However, if you have a weakened immune system or skin barrier, it's possible to react negatively to essential oils. I use very low, safe dilutions of essential oils in my skincare and body/hair care products.

Perfumes have a much higher dilution rate and should be applied to the skin sparingly, especially if you're prone to sensitivities and allergic reactions. Solid perfumes contain an even higher dilution rate and aren't the best option for sensitive individuals.

I go above and beyond industry standards to provide fully transparent ingredient lists and samples for each of my products so that you can make the best decisions for yourself. It is your responsibility to determine what ingredients you can and cannot tolerate, and I do not issue refunds for products that cause reactions.

There are many reasons your skin could be reacting to products/foods/medications. I do not diagnose or treat medical issues. Check with your doctor if you have questions about using essential oils, or any of my natural products, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have an otherwise compromised immune system.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All oil-based body and skincare items, such as balms, powders, and deodorants, have a 1-year shelf life, although they may last longer if kept cool, in a dry space out of direct sunlight with little exposure to bacteria. All water-based items (body sprays, toning mist, etc.,) have a shelf life of 6 months. The perfumes should last for 2 years if kept out of direct sunlight. However, the scent may change over time, as some essential oils may either deepen, bloom, or fade as they age. I do not view this as a defect - it is part of the beauty of natural, plant-based fragrances.

Some perfumes may appear cloudy or have sediment appear at the bottom of the bottle - this happens when thicker essential oils don't fully dissolve in alcohol and is not an indication that your perfume has spoiled.

Separation of ingredients is normal for most natural products as temperatures fluctuate throughout the year. Give the bottle a gentle shake as needed. Oil-based products that have "turned" will have a waxy scent reminiscent of melted crayons.

A "frosted glass" effect on butters and balms is also normal - it's simply what happens when you pour hot melted wax into a glass container and let it cool.

Rule of thumb: replace your products on a yearly basis.

I've heard that natural perfumes don't last - how long do yours typically last?

It depends on your natural body chemistry and how good you are at smelling things. My fragrances contain no additives and will probably not last as long (or smell as strongly) as the typical perfumes you'll find in department stores.

Natural perfume is intricate, subtle, and dynamic. The top note ingredients will dissipate more quickly than the middle/heart notes, while the base notes should remain on your skin for some time. Most of my fragrances have great staying power, but a few lighter options won't stick around for long. Apply and re-apply as desired.

Avoiding strongly scented laundry detergents and hand soap/lotions will also help your natural fragrance shine through. If you're used to overpowering synthetic scents, it may take some time for your nose to adjust, but soon you'll be enjoying all of the subtle and dynamic properties of my natural ingredients.

What are your most popular scents?

All of them!

Which of your fragrances are suitable for men, and/or are considered gender-neutral?

All of them.

Can you make me something custom?

I consider customs on a case by case basis, giving priority to members of my Patreon community. Please note that my custom design fee starts at $300.

Are you bringing back a product you used to carry or will you make it just for me?

No and no. But you can make it for yourself by purchasing the recipe from my Patreon shop! I also occasionally include retired products in my new Off-the-Menu Monthly subscription box!

Do you host parties where I can get my friends together and we can make our own perfumes or skincare?

No. I might consider it for a member of my Patreon though!

Do you work with influencers to promote your products?

Kind of... if you have a monetized blog or social media profile and are a champion of independent, women-owned brands, you're welcome to sign up for my affiliate program. Click here for details.

Are you hiring?

No, not at this time.

Can I get a discount?

There are coupons available through my rewards program.

I do not provide free skincare consultations or medical advice. Please see a qualified dermatologist for help diagnosing and treating any skincare issues.
