Weekly Beauty Recap #3

Weekly Beauty Recap #3

Hello!

Here's all of my makeup looks for the week. Hopefully this provides you with a little bit of inspiration or helps you pick out a color for yourself... I have a lot of fun playing around with my products everyday so it's nice to have a place to share outside of instagram. Here we go!

Monday:

There's nothing special about this look - I just wanted to show you what this lipstick shade looks like on. Noble is like a bright orange coral with some hot pink... isn't it pretty?! Thank you Axiology for helping me realize my dream of being the makeup free lady who just wears bold lips like NBD.

Tuesday:

This is me, trying to make all of the beige and pastel colors I'm working with here make sense together. 😂 I used a tiny bronze eye tint in my brows, which I don't do often but I think it works just as well as the cocoa for me. I used my finger to apply jade highlight balm all over my lids and all the way up to my brow. Also used my finger to apply sandstone shimmer powder just on my lower lid. Bronze eye tint as mascara on my lashes (Monday's pic might be a better example of that - it's a great light-makeup-day look...)

I rolled amethyst shimmer serum on my upper cheekbones and layered shell lip + cheek tint over that on the apples of my cheeks and also on my lips.

Wednesday:

So, I really like sandstone. 😁 I used an eye shadow brush to apply it to my lower lids and up over my crease. I don't often wear liner on my top lash line, mostly because I'm always in a rush and not sure that it's actually that flattering on me, but I was really happy with how it turned out today. It made me feel very polished! I used the slanted brush side of my eye tint duo brush and just carefully brushed/dabbed it on my eye, staying as close as possible to my lashes. I rolled on highlight serum to highlight my upper cheekbones up onto my brow bone, and down the center of my nose. For blush I just dabbed on a tiny bit of the stain, blending with my fingers. Joy is by far the Axiology shade that I sell the most of, and it's easy to see why. It's like a pinkish berryish mauvey plum (it reads extra pink on me, but most makeup colors do...) Anyway, I'm glad I snagged a tube for myself this time!

Thursday:

I call this look, "I don't always wear this much makeup, but when I do, random men feel compelled to tell me how beautiful I am." 😑

(I actually did feel quite pretty today. Didn't need to hear it from the mailman, but what can you do...)

I made a typo in my instagram description here - it says it's a combo of bronze eye tint and shimmer serum, but it's actually bronze eye tint and bronze shimmer powder (applied the tint with my finger and the powder with a brush over it.) I used a fluffy eyeshadow brush to dust some highlight shimmer powder on my brow bone and inner corners. Bronze eye tint also as a lower lash liner, applied with the slanted side of my duo brush. I meant to apply cocoa eye tint as my mascara, but I accidentally used my cocoa brush in the bronze eye tint so it's kind of a mix of both.

Ginger snap is on my cheeks - people keep asking me when it's coming back and I'm sorry for the long tease, but mark your calendars for THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! It's a limited edition holiday thing because I think it's more fun that way. Something to look forward to, right? Oh, and it'll be available in a shimmer powder and serum this year too!

Lips is petal tint, which I need to wear more often because it's so pretty, right?

Friday:

Everything sandstone. I am OBSESSED! I wasn't going to release any more new colors but I'm so glad I whipped this one up. I think it's going to be a new staple for me. Also I have one more I want to make but I might need to wait until after the holidays... (I know it's only September but I'm already panicking about the holiday rush. Retail is FUN.) 😂

Saturday:

So here I tight-lined my eyes (applied it to the inner rims of my eyelids using the slanted side of my duo brush) with cocoa eye tint, which is a lot easier and faster than top eyeliner for me. I feel like it makes my eyes pop, but in a more casual, lived in way. Perfect for a rainy Saturday!

Hematite highlight balm gives you a nice cool, sliver-y glow. I applied it on my upper cheek bones and all over my eye lid/brow bone. Petal tint on my lips and cheeks, but I think it's a little smudged off here because I was swishing mouthwash and about to run out the door.

Oh, and I wore translucent facewhip with mattifying powder every day this week. That's pretty much a given every day!

Is it weird that I take a selfie every single morning? IDK. Do I care? Entrepreneurship is weird, y'all. Buy some makeup.

(Oh and the lip + cheek tint colors in the title picture are ruby and shell!)

-XO-
