Summer Scents for Every Occasion

Summer Scents for Every Occasion

I'm not quite sure how this happened, *cough it's my most favorite time of year cough cough* but I seem to have more summer-appropriate fragrances in my collection than for any other season!

Because there are so many delicious options here at Twinkle Apothecary, I've sorted them into different categories for this post.

There are summer perfumes that smell like a vacation,

summer perfumes for backyard hangouts,

and refreshing summer scents that are perfect for cooling things down.

So no matter what you're up to this season, I think we can find a natural perfume to match!

First, perfumes that smell like a vacation.

These are my favorite warm, sweet, sometimes spicy, tropical florals.

Whether you're looking for something to capture the mood of your favorite getaway, or something to make you feel like you're on the beach when you're actually stuck at your desk, you can't go wrong with any of these warm weather treats.

Tropic Flora, Island Spice, Wave, Summer Saturdays, and Le Bikini all have a similar vibe, but they each have a little something special about them that will make you want to sample and collect them all. Personally, I just love a sweet, warm, sandalwood-y floral, so these are some of my top favorites that I want to wear all year long!

Summer scents for a backyard party...

As much as I love a sweet tropical floral, I also want my scent to match my current atmosphere. When I'm out at the park or grilling veggies in the backyard, I always reach for a green, grassy, herbal, or woodsy scent like the ones in this video:

If you want to feel like a picnic, check out (new!) Cut Grass, Dolce Vita, Goddess, Backyard, and Dope Queen.

As a sneaky little bonus, these are also made with essential oils that have natural mosquito repelling properties! I included Dope Queen in this collection because it seriously soothes the itch and swelling when I do get a bite. Summer necessity.

Refreshing Summer Fragrances To Cool Things Down.

Think it's too hot to wear perfume? NEVER, I SAY! You just need something refreshing, zesty, light, cooling, and maybe a little bit boozy.

Orange Blossom Water, Mamacita, Pompette, Tonic, and Cat Buttons are the most thirst-quenching fragrances in my collection. Just don't actually drink them, although I do understand if you're tempted...

Most of these summery scents can be found in the Perfume Archives, but I recommend scrolling down to see the full collection. You may just find something you love to wear year-round!

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your summer!

Stefanie
