New Year, New Stuff

New Year, New Stuff

Stefanie Grant-Cassel

2017 is finally, FINALLY HERE!
I LOVE New Years. I love setting big goals, getting into new routines, eating vegetables, and exercising, so for me, January 1 is almost better than Christmas.
(I know, I'm a freak...)
I just get so excited when I think about all of the amazing things I want to do this year that I can't wait to get started!
Speaking of which, I'm kicking off 2017 with a few new products that I hope you're going to love.
They're all things that I made because I needed/wanted them in my own life, and I think they're kind of perfect for anyone who wants to take better care of themselves in the new year!
$30 for 8 oz or $10 for 2 oz
twinkle apothecary yoga mat spray
This combination of bergamot, ylang ylang, cinnamon, and patchouli is so delicious that I've been using it as a room spray too. I love that the essential oils not only have powerful antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti fungal properties (because I do NOT have time to get sick from nasties on my mat) but the aromatherapy effects are uplifting and energizing, yet grounding. Perfect for yoga class, no?!
lotion stick twinkle apothecary
I made this because despite the fact that my life is full of amazing butters and oils, I didn't have anything I could toss in my purse to moisturize on the go. This is just the right size to keep in your purse, pocket, or car, and it really works to keep your hands protected from that harsh winter air. Bonus points for the essential oils with antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Plus it smells so nice and fresh!
twinkle apothecary mattifying powder
Confession: I've been using straight-up cornstarch as a setting powder for several years now, until just recently, when I gave it an upgrade by adding some soothing tapioca and skin-balancing essential oils. The last time I ran out and needed to make some more for myself I decided to make a big batch to share with you all! It gives my oily skin a nice silky, matte finish, without looking or feeling like makeup. And the smell is just lovely (of course!)
twinkle apothecary daily makeup brush cleaner
Every year, I resolve to clean my makeup brushes more regularly. And every year, I fail miserably. So this year, I made something so nice that I'll want to use it every day.
A few spritzes, a swirl on a tissue or wash cloth, a fluff of the bristles, and I'm done. Now, if I could just find the time to deep clean them every week...
(Maybe if I stop making so many new things??! Haha...)
That's all for now, friends!
I wish you all a wonderful new year with amazing adventures ahead!
