Balance and hydrate
Toner is a necessary step after cleansing to re-balance your skin's pH level and protect your skin barrier.
Customize it: choose a mildly astringent toner base, (best for normal to oily skin) or a hydrosol for something purely hydrating. Essential oils are optional.

Product FAQs
Do I really need a toner?
Yes. If you can only add one product to your skincare routine, start with toner. Good skin is all about pH balance, and toner helps your skin barrier layer stay in its preferred, slightly acidic state. This keeps your skin hydrated and allows the good bacteria that live on your skin to thrive and keep bad bacteria and inflammation-causing harmful pathogens at bay. For more information about your skin's microbiome, read this.
Is this good for dry, sensitive skin?
Toner is great for all skin types. Be sure to follow with a moisturizer, always, but especially if you have dry skin. For a less astringent and essential oil-free option, choose a hydrosol base.
